Is it safe to shop on the internet?
When shopping with any online store, the security of your personal and payment data is of the utmost importance. With Teddy Delivery you can feel safe in the knowledge that everything is done to protect your details. Personal data is stored in our customer register and used only for the purposes you permit. Data is not sold and third parties do not have access to it. We comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and are registered on the Data Protection Register (No Z9729038). Credit card details are not seen by Teddy Delivery. Instead you will be transferred to our secure payment provider Protx who are one of the UK's leading e-commerce companies. What is the cost of postage?
First class postage within the UK is Free. UK next day delivery costs an additional £5.15 (please select UK next day from the country box when entering the delivery details). European and International postage is an additional £2.50 and £3.00 respectively for standard Airmail.
When will you send my Teddy Delivery?
For orders placed before 17:00 on a weekday the bear will be sent the same day. If placed after 17:00 we will still endeavour to post the same day but in most cases it will be sent the next working day (Mon-Fri). If you need a bear to be sent the same day and have missed the cut off please call us and we will try and help.
How long will it take for my Teddy Delivery to arrive?
Orders will be posted by 1st class mail or next day delivery if selected within the UK and via standard Airmail in all other circumstances. Royal Mail state 94.5% of first class letters arrive the next working day, 99.1% of next day delivery mail arrive by 13:00 the next day and 92.7% of deliveries to other countries arrive within 3-5 working days (We find that ourside Europe tends to take approx 5 - 10 working days). Please note that the next day delivery service can take longer to some destinations. Post can be delayed if the address and postcode are incomplete or inaccurate. Please ensure these details are correct before entering them (www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/postcodefinder). Please note we cannot guarantee a delivery date, only that we will dispatch as detailed above. We do not encouter many issues but please be aware the Royal Mail do not look into missing post until 15 wokring days for UK mail and 25 working International mail as post can be delivered upto this point. Saturdays are excluded from Royal Mail statistics and a Sunday service is not provided. The Royal Mail Saturday service is often not as complete as their Mon to Fri Service. /p>
What if my Teddy Delivery doesn't arrive?
In the event that your Teddy Delivery doesn't arrive, please call or email us. The Royal Mail guidelines for resolving such queries state that they will start investigations 15 working days after the posting date for UK missing mail and 25 days after the posting date for International missing mail. Although we may have to work within these guidelines we will endeavour to work with you and them to reduce any disappointment caused by non-delivery. (Teddy Delivery are not obliged to offer any compensation).
What is the special date reminder?
The special date reminder is a free service where we send you a reminder about special dates like anniversaries or friend's birthdays. We can even send an email with your predetermined text to the people in your reminder section. The email appears to have been sent from yourself and has no mention of Teddy Delivery.
Is Gift Wrapping available?
Yes we offer a gift wrapping service with metallic silver gift wrap at a charge of £2. Just email us after you have placed the order and we will contact you to take payment over the phone. We hope this service will soon be incorporated into the main website.
What happens when if I recommend a friend?
When you recommend a friend an email is sent to them letting them know that you have recommended them and giving a brief overview of Teddy Delivery.
What will I get when I subscribe to your newsletter?
When you subscribe to our newsletter you will receive a regular email which updates you about teddy delivery and will contain details of any discounts, special offers, new products and reminders of forthcoming special dates. On all newsletters is the option to unsubscribe.
